New Computers in the Red Room!

How to print to the lab printers from your laptop
We have made a tutorial to assist you in printing using the new print system. Click here to see how.

New printing system
CoA has migrated to the OUIT print system. We now have a much more reliable, and faster system. All prints will be charged to your bursar account unless you were given a special account to be charged. Please email "needhelp at ou.edu" or call 325-HELP if you have any questions about the new system.

Access the CoA network drives from home

Request U:\ Drive
In order to better allocate space, students without a U:\ drive are now required to request one. Click here to request your U:\ drive.

Machines in Main Lab
50 new computers and monitors were added during the 2007 summer break.. The machines have a 2.4ghz processor, 2 gigs of ram, and a 150 gigabyte hard drive.

Local My Documents Folder
Please do not save any files in your local my documents folder when in the lab. Save your files to your U:\ drive. The my documents folder is deleted on log off.

Virtual Lab is Here!
The CoA virtual lab allows you to use all applications, printers/plotters, and mapped drives, i.e. U:/; S:/, as if you were in the lab from your studio or home. If you have a laptop, you can use the wireless network in Gould & Carnegie to get on the Virtual Lab here.
