Computer Lab Hours of Operation
Main Lab: Main Street Room 108: Open 24 hours a day during fall, spring, and summer
Red Room: Main Street Room 113: Open 24 hours a day during fall, spring, and summer
Carnegie 301 and 309 Lab: Open 24 hours a day during fall, spring, and summer
NOTE: Lab Assistants are not in the labs 24 hours a day. Lab Assistants are usually in the lab from 7.30 am-11 pm, Sunday-Friday. Also, the Computer Labs may be closed for breaks.

Your Network Space
U:\ drive is used for your file storage and for roaming computer access -- retrieving your file from another computer in the lab. This drive gives you your files from computer to computer in the labs on our network when you logon to any computer.

1st Year = 250mb; 2nd Year = 500mb; 3rd Year = 1250mb; 4th & 5th Year = 2000mb; Graduate = 2500mb

Wireless
All of Main Street COA and Carnegie are covered with wireless access. To access the wireless network with your laptop you need a 802.11b wireless card. You can purchase a wireless card for $25 in the Felgar IT Service Center.

Virtual Lab
The Virtual lab is a way for you to access all the software applications that are in the lab over the internet in your lab or at home. To login to the virtual lab, go to http://lab.coa.ou.edu.

Printing and Plotting Price X Square Unit
There is a Print Fee Calculator at http://lab.coa.ou.edu/PrintCostCalculator.php. The calculator will allow you to find out how much a plot will be before you print it.

Color Laser Printer-- 8.5" x 11" = $ .50; 11" x 17" = $1.00
Bond Plotter 1 & 2-- $ 1.00 / sq. ft.
Gloss Plotter-- $ 2.00 / sq. ft.

How to Check your Print Charges
You can now check your print charges online. Go to http://lab.coa.ou.edu and select "Student Resources" > "Print Charges". Print charges are sorted by month.

Computer Repair
All CoA students can get their laptops and desktops fixed for free-plus parts. All you have to do is take your computer to an IT Service Center - Felgar Hall 300, or Couch. The IT Service Center will respond to the problem in 8 hours.
