Virtual Lab
We have improved our new virtual lab servers. The new servers require you to download a file to your computer. This file will automatically detect how many people are already logged on to the servers, and then connect you to the one with the least amount of people.
Right click on the link below and choose "Save Target As" or "Save File As". Make sure the file saves as "VirtualLab.rdp" and not as a ".mp3". Pictures showing how to do this are at the bottom of this page.
Right click this file. Virtual Lab File
After you have saved the file, double clicking it will start the connection process. You will not need to come back to this page afterwards, as you now have the file to get you connected.
To connect to our new virtual lab servers, please make sure you have Terminal Services Client version 6.0 installed. You can download the latest version from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925876 . Mac users can download the client here.
Opening the Virtual Lab File will start the connection to the new virtual lab servers. Please login with Sooner\4x4 (where 4x4 is your 4x4) and your password.
Please Note – To access the Virtual Lab from home you will need to login to OU with VPN--you can go to ITStore.ou.edu to get the VPN software.
Please email us at needhelp@ou.edu with the subject of "CoA Virtual Lab" if you have any problems.
Right click on "Virtual Lab File" and choose "Save Target As"
If it shows up as "VirtualLab.mp3", erase mp3 and change it to "rdp"
It should look like this before you click save.
