Printing to CoA lab printers from your laptop

http://www.ou.edu/ouit/labprint/ has a lot of useful information that will help you with any problems you have printing. Here is a simple how-to on printing to the CoA lab oprinters from your own computer.

1)In your internet browser, go to http://www.ou.edu/ouit/labprint/questions.htm

2)Click the link that says "Click here to download the zip file here"

3) After you have downloaded the file, unzip it and double click on "client-local-install.exe".

4) After the program has installed, run it. It will prompt you for your username and password. Enter your 4x4 and password.

5) After the software is installed, you should see a box similar to this

6) Now you just have to go add the printers. To do this, go to start - run. Paste in
\\it-baskin.ou.edu
Hit enter

7) A username and password box will pop up. Enter sooner\your4x4 and password.ex:
username: sooner\soon1234

8) Now a list of printers will pop up. Double click the CoA printers you want to print to.

9) Now when you go to print, the new printers will show. You will only have to do steps 6-8 after the program is installed on your computer.
